This Privacy Policy explains how ST Interactive processes personal data when you use the TEXTURE app and related services.

TEXTURE is an audio app for creative sound playback and layering. The app does not require a user account and does not provide sign-in through email, Google, Apple, or other providers.
According to the current service setup, the app uses local device storage, an externally hosted sample library, in-app purchases via the app stores and RevenueCat, Firebase Performance Monitoring, and support by email. The Privacy Policy itself may be hosted on web infrastructure operated for ST Interactive.
TEXTURE is not designed to process health data. We do not use user accounts or sign-in services in the app.
The app stores certain settings and presets locally on your device so that core functions work properly. This can include saved presets and playback settings such as auto-cache, crossfade, and maximum layer count.
Purpose: app functionality, convenience, and restoring your preferred settings.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where processing is necessary to provide app functions requested by you, and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR for our legitimate interest in stable and user-friendly app operation.
This data is stored locally on your device until you remove it, reset the app, clear app data, or uninstall the app.
Audio samples used by TEXTURE are loaded on demand from an externally hosted sample library. When your device requests audio content, technical data such as your IP address, request time, device or app-related request metadata, and transfer logs may be processed by the hosting infrastructure in order to deliver the requested files.
Purpose: delivery of audio content and app functionality.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
The sample library is part of the technical delivery of the app experience. Without these requests, streaming or loading the hosted samples is not possible.
TEXTURE offers premium content through in-app purchases handled through the relevant app store and RevenueCat. RevenueCat is used to validate purchases, manage entitlements, and restore previous purchases across supported platforms.
In this context, purchase-related data may be processed. This can include app store transaction data, entitlement status, subscription or product status, and purchase history information required for purchase validation and restoration.
Purpose: purchase processing, entitlement management, restoration of purchases, and app functionality.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
Payment processing itself is handled by the relevant app store provider, not directly by ST Interactive. Please also review the privacy information of Google Play and the Apple App Store where applicable.
We use Firebase Performance Monitoring to measure app performance and stability. This service may process technical performance and diagnostic data such as app start times, network request performance, device and operating system information, app version, and identifiers required by the service infrastructure.
Firebase Performance Monitoring may also rely on Firebase installation-related identifiers to distinguish app installations and measure performance over time.
Purpose: performance analysis, diagnostics, and improvement of app stability and performance.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR based on our legitimate interest in maintaining and improving the technical performance of the app.
If you contact us by email, we process the data you provide to handle your request. This usually includes your email address, the content of your message, and any information you include voluntarily.
Purpose: communication and support.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your request relates to using the app or a contract, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
We use service providers only to the extent necessary to operate the app and the services described above. These providers can include Google Firebase, RevenueCat, app store operators, hosting providers for app assets or website content, and email service providers.
Some providers may process data outside the European Union or European Economic Area. Where this is the case, data transfers are made on the basis of applicable legal safeguards, for example the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework where applicable or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
We store personal data only for as long as necessary for the relevant purposes, for legal obligations, or for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.
Local app data remains on your device until deleted by you or removed through app reset or uninstall. Support emails are kept only as long as needed to process the request and any follow-up. Retention periods for third-party services such as Firebase Performance Monitoring, RevenueCat, and the app stores are governed by those providers’ own systems and documentation.
Under the GDPR, you may have the right to request access to your personal data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection to processing, and data portability, where the legal requirements are met.
If processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time with effect for the future. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.

TEXTURE is not intended to knowingly collect personal data from children in violation of applicable law. If you believe that personal data has been provided unlawfully, please contact us.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the app, legal requirements, or service providers. The latest version will be made available through the app or on the relevant website.
TEXTURE is an audio tool for creative sound playback and layering. It is provided for artistic and entertainment purposes only. It does not provide medical, therapeutic, or diagnostic advice. Please use the app at a safe listening volume.
All included samples are produced by ST Interactive. All included samples are royalty-free and may be used commercially without additional license fees as part of your own music, sound design, media, and client work. Resale, redistribution, or re-packaging of the raw sample files as a standalone sample library is not permitted.
Premium features may require a one-time purchase or subscription handled through the app store and related purchase infrastructure.
